Equipping your organisation with the information to make informed decisions and make the most impact
We work with Housing Associations and Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) both large and small across the country. We have a shared understanding of the local area and local priorities, which gives us a head start in creating initiatives that will really work on the ground.
Our team can work with you to develop bespoke projects that deliver for local people and for your business. Our projects range from innovative community projects to asset surveying. GIS allows housing associations to better understand their clients as well as manage their business portfolio.
We know that Housing Associations are called upon to provide a wide range of services. They also have a duty to use funding and other resources as effectively as possible. Whether you are looking to expand or simply work more effectively, we can work with your existing expertise in a number of ways:
- Visualising and Layering complex data, making it easy to understand and analyse
- Bringing together your own information with other specialist data-sets
- Helping you make informed decisions based on a sound understanding of where you work (or want to work)
- Comparing demand in a given area against geographic, social and economic factors at the click of a button (over time, analysis of such information can demonstrate where events, research and marketing activities are working and highlight where improvement is needed)
EXAMPLE
- Help bring together datasets from the original organisations into a single place
- Use our experienced staff to survey sites, working efficiently with the latest mobile technology
- Create prioritised lists by combining and weighting different factors
We use industry leading GIS technology, but to a different brief: we’re a part of a not-for-profit federation of local trusts called Groundwork, whose aim is to create better neighbourhoods, improve job prospects and encourage greener ways of living throughout the UK.
As well as mapping and analysis, our friendly team also have expertise in asset surveying, on-sites software training, development of consultation tools, 3D modelling and it is with this wealth of experience that we can tailor every package to suit your needs. As part of Groundwork, we are able to bring real-life experience of community development and environmental projects to the table, giving GIS a human side.
EXAMPLE
- Producing resources for use in public meetings or on the internet
- Interactive mapping allows people to see proposals, background information, add suggestions/comments
- Post-consultation analysis to identify patterns in the comments and whether the comments were made by a representative sample of people
